CenTex Aero as trustee drafts the trust agreement for the beneficiary and trustee to sign, then files it with the FAA Aircraft Registry. We also draft an aircraft operating agreement between the beneficiary and trustee addressing terms not included in the trust agreement, such as the beneficiary’s exclusive right to possess and operate the aircraft, compliance with FAA regulations, US export restrictions when applicable, maintenance of the aircraft under FAA regulations, insurance, termination of trust at beneficiary’s will, and leasing the aircraft to third parties. CenTex Aero holds title to the aircraft for the benefit of the beneficiary as a service. The beneficiary may direct CenTex Aero to sell or lease the aircraft at any time to whomever the beneficiary designates.
